A 14-year-old girl from Polur in Tiruvannamalai district was rushed for medical examination after she complained of severe stomach pain.
The girl lives with her parents. The family is said to visit the Saidani Beevi Dargah at Vandavasi every month as a routine.
According to the report, the girl’s parents had recently fallen ill. Following the girl’s condition and the subsequent medical tests, the case took a serious turn.
Police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and arrested three persons in connection with the incident. Further details were not disclosed in the source report.
