Minister Sengottaiyan was admitted to a private hospital in Coimbatore on Saturday after he developed a sudden health issue during his visit to the city.
He was taken to a well-known private hospital located on Avinashi Road, where doctors began treatment.
Hospital sources said the minister is suffering from a mild fever and is under the care of a medical team.
Doctors added that his condition is stable and he is expected to be discharged on Sunday (May 25).
