Tension prevailed in Coimbatore after a bomb was hurled at the house of a young woman in the Thondamuthur area.
The woman is from the Kalikkanayakkanpalayam locality and was studying at a college in Coimbatore, according to the report.
During her studies, she became acquainted with a young man from Chennai identified as Karthik. The report said he began to develop a close relationship with her.
