Donald Trump Jr, 48, the eldest son of US President Donald Trump, has married businesswoman and model Bettina Anderson, 39, in a private ceremony in the Bahamas. The wedding was attended by fewer than 50 guests, including Trump Jr’s five children.
Trump Jr was previously married to Vanessa, with whom he has five children. The couple’s marriage ended in 2018.
After that, Trump Jr’s relationship with Anderson, who is from Palm Beach, Florida, became public late last year. The couple later decided to formalise their relationship through marriage.
The celebrations were organised as a three-day event in the Caribbean island nation, with arrangements handled by the Louis Miller Design firm. The couple had initially considered holding the wedding at the White House, but opted for a private Bahamas event citing Iran-related tensions and the broader international situation.
Eric Trump, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump were among the close family members present. President Donald Trump did not attend, reportedly due to the Iran war, and the family is said to be planning a larger celebration later this year.
