The RMC also noted that from May 26 to May 29, high temperatures and high humidity may cause discomfort at a few places over coastal Tamil Nadu.

For fishermen, the department warned of squally winds of 40–50 kmph, gusting to 60 kmph, over the Tamil Nadu coastal areas, the Gulf of Mannar and the Kumari Sea from May 26 to May 29, advising them not to venture into these waters.
