Chief Minister Vijay is scheduled to visit Tiruchirappalli on June 1 to express gratitude to voters of the Trichy East Assembly constituency.
After the recent election, a government led by Vijay has been formed in Tamil Nadu. Vijay had contested from two constituencies—Trichy East and Perambur—and won in both.
He has retained the Perambur seat and resigned as the MLA from Trichy East.
According to information shared, Vijay will take part in a public meeting on June 1 at a college ground opposite the Chathiram bus stand in Trichy. Preparations for the event are said to be under way.
