NIA officials conducted searches at three locations in Tamil Nadu in connection with a case registered in Kerala, sources said.
Teams from the agency’s Kochi regional unit arrived in the state to carry out the probe. Searches were held in Trichy, Virudhunagar and one other location.
In Virudhunagar district, officials inspected a unit at Agathakulam in Narikudi that manufactures gelatin sticks used for blasting.
Authorities have not yet released information on whether any key documents or materials were seized during the operation.
