CBSE on Saturday said it has addressed the shortcomings reported in its computer-based answer sheet evaluation system, known as “on-screen marking”. The board added that efforts are continuing to verify whether any other issues remain.

In a statement, CBSE said security vulnerabilities identified on its website have been fixed. It noted that the system is being reviewed further to ensure there are no additional gaps.

The board said it is closely monitoring security issues highlighted in the public domain. Over the past few days, a team of cyber security experts drawn from various government departments and IITs has been engaged for the exercise.

CBSE also thanked citizens and ethical hackers who pointed out the issues, and said it has directly contacted some of them. It asked anyone who finds further problems to write to [email protected].
