Schools across Tamil Nadu reopened on June 4 for students from Classes 1 to 12, marking the start of the new academic year after the summer break.
Teachers welcomed students back to campus by presenting bouquets and distributing sweets, creating a festive first-day atmosphere.
In a statement, Chief Minister Vijay extended heartfelt greetings to students beginning the year with fresh hope. He said education is the force that can brighten their future.
The Chief Minister encouraged students to nurture big dreams and work hard to match them. He added that every day of school should be a step forward, and urged students to learn happily, saying success would come looking for them.
