Chennai Police on June 4 arrested Surya Siva, son of DMK MP Tiruchi Siva, following a complaint filed by BJP executive and biker racer Alisha Abdulla.
According to the complaint submitted at the Chennai Police Commissioner’s office, Abdulla alleged that obscene remarks and defamatory content about her were circulated on social media.
She named YouTuber Mukthar and Surya Siva in her petition, stating that the posts had harmed her reputation.
Based on the complaint, police took Surya Siva into custody. Officials said efforts are under way to trace and secure YouTuber Mukthar in connection with the case.
