Venezuela President Delcy Rodriguez, who is on a five-day official visit to India, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and held discussions on a range of issues.
Ahead of the meeting, the Ministry of External Affairs said the visit would focus on strengthening bilateral ties, including cooperation on energy security, trade and investment.
The agenda also included discussions on pharmaceuticals, healthcare, transport and renewable energy, as both sides look to deepen engagement across key sectors.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri were present during the talks with the Prime Minister.
