Tamil Nadu recorded varied rainfall across regions in the 24-hour period ending at 8 am today, with Chinnakallar registering the highest precipitation at 61 mm.

Other high-rainfall locations included Solaiyar and Wentworth Estate (52 mm each), followed by Pandalur (51 mm) and Chinchola (46 mm). Valparai received 41 mm, while Avalanche recorded 33 mm.

Moderate rainfall was reported at Nalu Muku and Upper Bhavani (23 mm each). Nagercoil and Kurunthancode logged 22 mm each.

Siruvani foothills recorded 18 mm of rainfall during the same period, according to the latest figures.
