Thiruverumbur MLA Navalpattu Viji on Saturday levelled sharp allegations against the DMK, claiming corruption had spread even to waste-related activities.

Speaking in Tiruchirappalli, Viji said former DMK ministers had committed “massive corruption” and pushed the country into a dire state.

He also alleged that the same leaders were now openly criticising the TVK government, despite their own record.

The remarks were made as part of a political attack on the DMK, with Viji urging the public to take note of what he described as the party’s past conduct.
