MDMK confirms invitation
MDMK has received an invitation to participate in the INDIA alliance consultation meeting, according to the party’s principal secretary Durai Vaiko.

Speaking in Tiruchirappalli, Durai Vaiko said Vaiko will represent the MDMK at the talks scheduled to be held in Delhi.
DMK may skip amid differences
He indicated that the DMK may have decided not to take part in the consultation meeting due to differences between the DMK and the Congress.
Call for unity on Tamil Nadu issues
Durai Vaiko said political groups should come together beyond party lines to address Tamil Nadu’s issues, expressing hope that such unity would emerge in the future.
Remarks on Annamalai
He also said Annamalai has launched a political movement after leaving the BJP, adding that its agenda could be secularism and development politics, and wished him success.
