New Delhi: The question papers for the upcoming NEET re-examination will be transported using Indian Air Force helicopters, officials said.

The move follows shock among candidates after last month’s NEET question paper leak. A re-exam is scheduled for June 21, and the Centre has announced multiple steps to ensure there are no lapses this time.

As part of these measures, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had approved the use of Air Force helicopters last week. The sealed question papers will now be flown in IAF Mi-17 helicopters to regional centres.

Officials said the decision is aimed at ensuring secure delivery and reaching exam materials on time, and expressed confidence that it will help prevent any further paper leaks.
