Veteran Tamil film director Bharathiraja (84) died in Chennai on Tuesday (June 10) due to health-related issues.

Bharathiraja was regarded as a leading figure in the Tamil film industry, known for his long-standing presence as a prominent director.

Following the news of his demise, filmmakers Bala, Cheran, Vetrimaaran and Mysskin paid tributes, remembering his contribution to Tamil cinema.
