Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting was described as a courtesy call.
Vijay is in the national capital to attend the NITI Aayog meeting scheduled for Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On his arrival at Tamil Nadu House, the Chief Secretary Saikumar and Tamil Nadu House Chief Officer Jaya, among others, received him. The Chief Minister also accepted a guard of honour by Tamil Nadu Police personnel.
After the reception at Tamil Nadu House, Vijay proceeded to Rashtrapati Bhavan for the meeting with the President.
