Lottery businessman Martin’s family has approached the Madras High Court challenging the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) move to seize assets valued at Rs 451 crore.

The petition has been filed on behalf of Martin, his wife Leema Rose, daughter Daisy Aadhav, and companies linked to his son Charles.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Dharmaadhikari and Justice Arulmurgan heard the matter and directed that notice be issued to the ED.

The ED’s action was taken in connection with a case registered on allegations of illegal money laundering. The family has sought relief against the seizure through the present petition.
