Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to France on an official visit and participate in the G7 summit scheduled for June 16-17, according to the report.
At the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, Modi is set to visit Nice on June 13-14, where the two leaders will hold discussions. Their talks are expected to cover bilateral trade ties and the prevailing international political situation.
During the visit, Modi and Macron will jointly launch an initiative titled “Bharat Innovates”, aimed at connecting leading start-ups from India and France.
Modi will also undertake an official visit to Slovakia from June 14-16. The report said this would make him the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Slovakia after it gained independence.
The overall tour is expected to focus on strengthening cooperation across sectors such as trade, investment and automobiles, while the G7 summit will include sessions on international unity, AI technology and reviving sustainable economic growth.
