Opposition leader Udhayanidhi has raised questions over what he called the first case linked to the ‘Singapen’ unit, alleging that it has turned into a matter involving the ruling party.
In a statement, he referred to an alleged injustice faced by a woman described as a fan of Chief Minister Vijay in Srivaikuntam. He said the incident has triggered anger among women across Tamil Nadu.
Udhayanidhi also accused the Chief Minister’s government of attempting to suppress or conceal the issue. He criticised the administration while referring to the Chief Minister’s public messaging on personal morality.
The remarks were made in the context of the Srivaikuntam incident and the handling of the complaint, with the opposition demanding accountability from the government.
