CBSE Class 12 revaluation results have been delayed, leaving students uncertain about their chances of securing seats in colleges and universities.
The board had released the Class 12 public exam results last month. Following that, more than 1.60 lakh students who were dissatisfied with their marks applied for revaluation.
Typically, CBSE publishes revaluation outcomes before the first round of college admissions begins after state board results. This year, even as June has progressed, there has been no official announcement on when the revaluation results will be released.
The Supreme Court took up the matter on June 9, directing that answer scripts be re-evaluated and results issued quickly, and asked CBSE to submit a report on its release plan by June 12. With the deadline now over and no confirmed update, students and parents remain anxious, while parents have urged CBSE to publish the results immediately as admissions are underway.
