Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said India is no longer just a consumer in the global arena, but is increasingly becoming a country that develops solutions to international challenges. He made the remarks in Nice, France, at the launch event of “Bharat Innovates”.

Modi said the India–France relationship goes beyond trade ties and diplomatic partnership, describing it as a significant bond built on trust, innovation and a shared long-term vision.

He noted that India is prioritising technology for people and human-centric innovation. According to him, young Indian innovators are working on solutions that can benefit people across the world.

The Prime Minister added that both countries have been making efforts to address global challenges and have worked together to find solutions to issues faced by people.

Highlighting changes underway in the country, Modi said India is witnessing a major transformation in the 21st century, with a startup revolution in progress. He said the young entrepreneurs present reflected India’s future and the aspirations of its youth.
