Chief Minister Vijay has announced a complete waiver of crop loans up to Rs 75,000 taken through cooperative banks.
According to the announcement, eligible farmers will receive a 100% waiver for loans within the specified limit.
The Chief Minister also referred to an earlier assurance that, after the TVK government was formed, crop loans up to Rs 50,000 would be fully waived for farmers.
