Tamil Nadu’s annual conference of district collectors and senior police officers will be held in Chennai on June 29 and 30, with Chief Minister Vijay chairing the sessions.

The conference is a regular yearly exercise in the state, bringing together top district administration and police leadership under the Chief Minister’s leadership.

Officials are expected to review key issues including the implementation of government welfare schemes and matters related to law and order.

This will be the first such collectors-and-police conference to be held after the formation of the TVK-led government under Chief Minister Vijay, according to the announcement.
