Los Angeles: Switzerland produced a stunning late burst to defeat Bosnia 4-1 in a World Cup Group B league match, with four goals coming after the 74th minute.

Despite controlling possession in the first half, Switzerland struggled to break down Bosnia’s organised defence. Bosnia repeatedly blocked Swiss attempts, and the opening 45 minutes ended goalless.

The breakthrough arrived in the 74th minute when young Swiss forward Johan Manzambi scored. Bosnia’s task became harder in the 80th minute after Tarik was sent off, leaving them with 10 men.

Switzerland capitalised quickly, with Ruben Vargas making it 2-0 in the 84th minute and Manzambi adding his second in the 90th to extend the lead to 3-0.

Bosnia pulled one back through Ermin Mahmic in stoppage time (90+3), but Swiss captain Granit Xhaka sealed the result with a penalty in the final moments (90+7). The win takes Switzerland to four points in Group B, putting them within touching distance of Round of 32 qualification.
