Egypt secured a 3-1 comeback win over New Zealand in a FIFA World Cup match played at Vancouver.
New Zealand struck first in the 15th minute when Ben Surman found the net, giving his side a 1-0 lead.
Egypt responded strongly after the break. Mostafa Zizo equalised in the 58th minute to make it 1-1, before Mohamed Salah put Egypt ahead with a second goal in the 67th minute.
Trezeguet added a third in the 82nd minute, extending the lead to 3-1. New Zealand pushed until full time but could not change the result, as Egypt finished with an emphatic victory and moved to the top of the points table.
