Instagram, owned by Meta, is a widely used social media platform for sharing photos and short videos. Many users also rely on it for entertainment and for sending private messages and photos to friends.
Meta has now introduced a dedicated feature called “Instagram for TV”, enabling users to watch and share Instagram Reels directly on smart TVs.
To use it, users can visit the TV’s app store, search for Instagram, and install the app. After opening it, they can scan the on-screen QR code using their mobile phone to log in.
In the first phase, the feature is being launched on Samsung smart TVs released after 2020. The company expects the new option to be well received by users.
