Minister Nirmal Kumar on Tuesday announced that a white paper on the state’s electricity board will be released day after tomorrow.
Speaking to reporters, he said Chief Minister Vijay is set to distribute appointment orders to 300 newly recruited personnel in the electricity department.
The minister also responded to political criticism, alleging that the DMK walked out after the issue of “party fund” was raised and said legal action would be pursued.
He further said people are now coming to the Secretariat to submit petitions and meet ministers to seek solutions to their grievances, unlike earlier when, he claimed, brokers dominated access.
