Protests have been intensifying for the past few weeks in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), according to reports.
The agitation is being led by the Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee (JAAC), which has been mobilising people across the region.
Protesters are raising demands for basic rights, economic relief and reforms in government administration.
Amid the continuing unrest, security forces have been deployed in large numbers in the area, the report said.
The situation remains tense as the movement continues, with the group pressing its demands through sustained demonstrations.
