Tamil daily Dinamalar’s TV segment reported on remarks made in the Tamil Nadu Assembly during the debate on the motion thanking the Governor for his address.
According to the report, Chief Minister Vijay, while speaking on the motion, made allegations targeting the DMK’s period in office.
He claimed that within TASMAC, the state-run liquor retail corporation, there was an aggressive drive to collect money under the label of a “party fund” during the DMK administration.
The video was presented as part of a political discussion segment and framed the allegation as a major charge raised on the Assembly floor.
