Brazil cruise past Scotland

In a Group C league match in Miami, Brazil defeated Scotland 3-0 to book a spot in the World Cup knockout round. Vinicius Junior struck early in the 7th minute and added his second in first-half stoppage time (45+3) to put Brazil firmly in control.

Matheus Cunha made it 3-0 in the 60th minute to seal the result. Midfielder Bruno Guimaraes played a key role with assists for two of the goals.

Brazil star Neymar, who missed the first two matches due to injury, returned as a substitute in the 75th minute. With the win, Brazil finished top of Group C and advanced.

Morocco win thriller against Haiti

In the group’s final league match, Morocco secured a dramatic 4-2 victory over Haiti to qualify for the knockouts. Haiti took a 10th-minute lead after a ball from Lenny Joseph deflected off goalkeeper Yassine Bounou for an own goal.

Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi equalised in the 39th minute, but Wilson Isidore restored Haiti’s lead at 43 minutes. Ismail Saibari then levelled in first-half stoppage time, sending the teams into the break at 2-2.

Substitute Soufiane Rahimi put Morocco ahead in the 78th minute from a corner after coming on in the 70th. In the 89th minute, Rahimi provided the assist for another substitute, Kesaim Yassine, who finished to make it 4-2 and confirm Morocco’s progression.
