The secretary of the Ayodhya Ram Temple trust and one of its trustees have resigned, according to a report from Dinamalar TV.
The Ram Temple project in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, has drawn donations from across the country, with contributions coming from devotees as well as traders and industrialists.
Along with monetary support, some donors have offered valuables such as gold, silver and diamond jewellery, and even silver bars.
The report also notes that the consecration of the Balaram idol took place in 2024.
