Several members from other parties joined the DMK on Saturday in the presence of DMK president M.K. Stalin.

Addressing the gathering, Stalin launched a sharp attack on the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), saying the party would face “100% defeat” even if it resorted to aggressive tactics.

He alleged that after TVK came to power, Tamil Nadu has been facing problems including deterioration in law and order and frequent power cuts.

Stalin also said that an election could come at any time in the state, urging party workers to stay prepared.
