DMK has submitted a complaint to the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP), seeking action against two individuals—John Arokiyasamy and Vishnu Reddy—over allegations that they gained access to confidential government deliberations.

In an email complaint sent on behalf of DMK organising secretary Bharathi, the party alleged that the two private persons participated in cabinet meetings chaired by Chief Minister Vijay, as well as official review meetings and other confidential consultations.

The complaint said the Chief Minister, having taken oath under the Constitution including a pledge of secrecy, has a legal duty to safeguard the confidentiality of cabinet proceedings and sensitive government information.

Citing media reports, DMK claimed the two men, described as close aides to the Chief Minister and said to be from Andhra Pradesh, have been regularly present at cabinet meetings and high-level discussions held at the Secretariat.

DMK questioned whether they are government employees or otherwise authorised under Tamil Nadu government service rules to attend secret official proceedings. It demanded legal action against them for allegedly obtaining confidential information, and also sought action against the Chief Minister.
