DMK president M K Stalin has constituted a restructuring advisory committee for the party, announcing that the panel will have 10 members.
The move follows the party’s post-election review after its defeat in the Assembly elections. On May 14, Stalin had formed 19 committees to study the reasons behind the setback.
Members of those committees met party cadres and office-bearers to gather feedback from the ground. The field teams later prepared a report and submitted it to Stalin.
In a post on X, Stalin said he had listened to the voices of party workers and read the study reports, and that the new advisory committee would help chart the party’s journey for the next hundred years.
The 10 members named to the committee are Thangam Thennarasu, Geetha Jeevan, Chakrapani, Sivasankar, Tamilarasi Ravikumar, M M Abdullah, Paranthaman, Murasoli, Ezhilan and S K P Karuna.
