The rank list for Tamil Nadu’s 2026 engineering admissions has been released on July 1. The list was announced by Higher Education Minister Viswanathan in Chennai.

Anna University oversees more than 460 engineering colleges, where around two lakh BE seats are filled each year through the single-window counselling system. Following the 2026 application registration process, the rank list has now been published.

Candidates can check their rank and cut-off details on https://www.tneaonline.org/. A total of 2,36,017 candidates have been ranked, including 1,30,767 boys and 1,05,246 girls. The minister said 53 students secured a perfect 200/200 cut-off.

The minister also announced a grievance redressal window from July 1 to July 5 for corrections in the rank list. Students may approach nearby TNEA service centres, and those whose names are missing or who face issues have been asked to contact the authorities by July 6.

In the top three, Aksita from Dharmapuri secured first place, followed by Rohith Balan from Tiruppur in second and Venkatakrishnan from Namakkal in third.
