RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday said India would guide the world and that humanity must follow the path India shows. He made the remarks while addressing a programme in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

Bhagwat said visitors from within India and abroad, including people from five continents, share a similar view after understanding the organisation. He added that many ask for comparable training opportunities for the youth of their own countries.

He said the RSS journey is continuing and that its work does not stop with building individual character. According to him, several countries have acknowledged—through writings and speeches—that India can provide direction, but he argued this would become possible only when India advances on a strong foundation and emerges as a nation with both stature and strength.

Bhagwat said the organisation has taken a self-imposed vow to serve the motherland and continues striving to become true servants. Citing the life of Dr K B Hedgewar as an example, he said such fulfilment requires sustained effort and cannot be achieved through a life of comfort.

He added that for India to rise as a country capable of meeting a global goal, it must become a living embodiment of that ideal. He said Indians, as individuals and as a people, should follow a way of life that can be demonstrated to the world through their conduct.
