Lucknow: BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will return to power in Uttar Pradesh with a large majority in the 2027 Assembly elections.
Nabin is on a two-day visit to the state. As part of the tour, he met party office-bearers in Lucknow and also held discussions with NDA alliance partners to chart the election action plan.
Speaking to reporters after the meetings, he said the NDA would secure a “massive victory” in 2027. He attributed the party’s prospects to what he described as the service-oriented approach shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
He added that the BJP is fully prepared for the electoral battle and that all NDA partners have been working to make Uttar Pradesh a better state. He reiterated that he was fully confident the alliance would form the government again with a strong majority.
