Police have arrested one more person in a case linked to allegations of attempts to bargain with TVK MLAs to topple the government.
According to the report, the latest arrest comes after eight people were already taken into custody in the same case.
The person arrested has been identified as Krishna, described as the car driver of IPS officer Thirunavukkarasu, who had been arrested earlier.
The action was carried out by Triplicane police, who said they were continuing their crackdown as the investigation proceeds.
