Rural Development Minister Anand, who is also the general secretary of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), said Chief Minister Vijay would take action against anyone found to be at fault.
Speaking at a wedding function at a party functionary’s residence in Thoothukudi, Anand recalled that Vijay received a massive public welcome when he visited the district ahead of the recently concluded Assembly elections.
He said Vijay is now serving as Chief Minister and conveyed TVK’s gratitude to the people of Thoothukudi for their support.
Anand added that the party would serve the public sincerely and stressed that ministers and MLAs should avoid wrongdoing, focus only on public service, and work with the mindset of being public servants.
