After winning the toss, India captain Shreyas Iyer opted to bowl. Arshdeep Singh began with a maiden over, but England recovered through Jos Buttler’s aggressive start before he was bowled by debutant Prince Yadav for 36 with the score at 43.

England’s innings was then anchored by Phil Salt, who struck 70, and Sam Curran, who remained unbeaten on 41. Despite losing wickets and two run-outs late in the innings, England finished strongly at 201 for 7 in 20 overs.

India’s chase began with 15-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi hitting early sixes, but he fell for 13 and the innings unraveled quickly. Abhishek Sharma made 10, Ishan Kishan 13, while Shreyas Iyer managed 5 as wickets tumbled in a steady stream.
