An anonymous caller rang the Mumbai Police control room and threatened to blow up Delhi’s Red Fort using explosives, according to officials.
Mumbai Police immediately passed the information to Delhi Police, triggering a security response at the historic monument.
Delhi Police deployed bomb detection teams and sniffer dogs and carried out an intensive search across the Red Fort परिसर.
No suspicious objects were found during the checks, and police said the threat was a hoax.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify and trace the caller who issued the threat.
