Ayodhya’s Ram temple administration will function without government interference, according to Nripendra Misra, chairman of the temple’s construction committee.

His remarks come after allegations of irregularities in offerings and donations made by devotees to the Ram temple. In connection with the complaint, eight people have been arrested, triggering a fresh controversy over the temple’s management.

Misra said a new CEO is set to be appointed for the temple and will oversee financial matters.

He added that the temple trust will decide the CEO’s responsibilities and the limits of authority, reiterating that the government will not play a role in the temple’s administration.
