Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday called on young entrepreneurs to learn and adopt artificial intelligence, while urging them to overcome hesitation and take the plunge into business.

She was speaking at the National Finance Entrepreneurship Summit held in Madurai under the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Young Indians, themed around entrepreneurship beyond borders.

In her address, Sitharaman said the current generation should avoid reluctance, noting that many processes have become easier today. She described India as a country suited for entrepreneurship and said the government is accessible and supportive of business growth.

She added that the Centre is extending credit support to micro, small and medium enterprises, and has created platforms and opportunities for starting businesses in India. She appealed to young entrepreneurs to come forward without hesitation and learn to use AI technology.
