Minister Nirmal Kumar on Friday said the government would ensure “100% action” in the Palani land scam linked to temple properties.
Speaking to reporters in Madurai, he said the probe in the Palani temple fraud case has been expanded and that all those involved should be arrested. He also alleged that fraudulent registrations have taken place in several locations.
The minister urged people who have been affected to come forward and lodge complaints, saying the authorities would act firmly in the Palani temple land irregularities case.
In the same interaction, he claimed the government had moved swiftly in this matter. He also made political allegations, stating that attempts to “buy” MLAs were continuing and that large sums of cash meant for such efforts had been seized, with more money allegedly stashed in multiple places.
He further questioned the basis on which claims were being made about Trichy Siva becoming a Union minister.
