The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has announced the 72nd National Film Awards for 2024, honouring achievements in Indian cinema.
Among the winners, the Tamil film ‘Raayan’ received the National Award for Best Tamil Film.
The film was directed by and starred Dhanush, marking a major recognition for the actor-filmmaker at the national level.
The National Film Awards are presented by the Central government to recognise and celebrate contributions by film artistes and technicians across the country.
