New Delhi: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Thursday said the central government is prepared to hold talks “anytime and anywhere”, urging representatives of the CJBP movement to participate in discussions.
According to Singh, the government has sent four formal invitations since yesterday afternoon, conveying its readiness for dialogue. He said the government is willing to discuss all issues at a time and venue convenient to the representatives.
Singh described the outreach as an appeal to the youth, and said talks could be held at BJP president J P Nadda’s office or residence, or any other mutually agreed location. “We are not concerned about protocol,” he said.
He added that J P Nadda and he would take part in the meeting and work towards a solution. Singh said the government’s continued efforts are aimed at safeguarding students’ welfare, and appealed to students to come forward for talks.
