India added two medals at the ISSF World Cup shooting event underway in Huangszu, China, with Esha Singh winning gold and Manu Bhaker taking bronze in the women’s 25m pistol.
In the final, Esha Singh topped the field with 40 points out of 50 to claim the gold medal. The result adds to her recent success in the same event at the World Cup championship held in Munich, Germany.
Manu Bhaker, who has previously won an Olympic bronze, finished on the podium again by securing the bronze medal in this competition with 28 points.
The ISSF World Cup is being conducted under the International Shooting Sport Federation, bringing together leading shooters from across countries in multiple disciplines.
