India wrapped up a clean sweep against Zimbabwe, winning the third and final T20 by 35 runs in Harare to take the three-match series 3-0.
After winning the toss, India chose to bat. Openers Suryavanshi and Abhishek Sharma started the innings, but Abhishek fell early for 2. Suryavanshi then added quick runs with Ishan Kishan, who made 29, before Suryavanshi powered to a half-century off 31 balls.
Suryavanshi was eventually dismissed for 81 off 49 balls. Shreyas Iyer (27) and Rinku Singh (25) provided late momentum as India posted 192 for 5 in 20 overs. For Zimbabwe, Evans took two wickets, while Raza, Muzarabani and Madhevere picked up one each.
Chasing 193, Zimbabwe suffered an immediate setback as Mayank Yadav struck with the first ball to remove Bennett. Yash Thakur then took key wickets, including Myers (20) and Sikandar Raza (0), while Ravi Bishnoi dismissed Ben Curran (20), leaving the hosts at 65 for 4.
Ryan and Madhevere steadied the chase with a 60-run stand, but Zimbabwe could only reach 157 for 7. Ryan remained unbeaten with a half-century (54), yet India sealed the win and Shreyas Iyer’s first series triumph as captain.
