Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a nationwide awareness campaign titled ‘Drug-Free India’ through a video conference.
According to the programme details shared, the initiative is being carried out across 10,000 locations with the participation of 125 organisations.
Addressing the event, Modi said that achieving the goal of a developed India requires young people to be physically and mentally fit.
He stressed the need to keep the youth away from drug addiction, linking the fight against substance abuse to the country’s broader development ambitions.
